The challenge
A new border. A different way of working.
Brexit changed the paperwork and processes needed to move fresh produce between the UK and the EU. G’s Fresh needed to connect load information, pallets, hauliers and customs documents across its UK and Spanish operations.
The task was operational as well as technical: people on both sides of the border needed a shared process, rather than more disconnected administration.
TTG’s response
Redesign the process, then connect the systems.
TTG worked with G’s Fresh’s leadership, IT team and employees in the UK and Spain to understand the process and its information requirements. The resulting bespoke Transport Management Platform connects with the UK and Spanish ERP systems and supports customs-document preparation.
Hauliers can access the documentation relevant to their trucks. Shared reporting and document records give the operation a clearer view of what is moving and the information supporting it.
How the work changes
Less re-keying. Review where it matters.
G’s Fresh’s transport operation runs around the clock. The platform connects transport planning, customs-clearance workflows and shipment visibility between Spain and the UK.
AI extracts commercial-invoice data for staff to review and approve, while connected delivery information helps teams coordinate hauliers, customs partners and retailers. The published customs-automation account identifies inconsistent supplier invoice formats and repeated data entry as the next operational bottleneck being addressed.
The outcome
Operational control at substantial scale.
The published transport case study reports clearer supply-chain visibility, reduced administration for hauliers and G’s staff, and stronger reporting. The platform manages 28,000+ inbound truck deliveries each year.
That figure describes annual operational volume, not a reduction in deliveries or a saving created by TTG. The platform was tailored to G’s Fresh’s transport operation.
